Moving out of apartment that our dog, er, “damaged”

Hi everyone. I am in Tokyo and have lived at this apartment for 7 years. We are friendly with some of the building management staff thanks to our kids and dog.

We have had an issue with a minor leak where they opened a hole above our bed and have yet to properly close it (they nailed a sheet over it) as they expected to redo that roof, but they couldn’t fins the source of the leak so never did. This may be irrelevant info but I am sharing it just in case.

Anyway, we moved into this place as it allows dogs so we shortly thereafter rescued a pup. This pup went through a rough, anxiety filled adjustment phase that resulted in scratched up walls, a slightly chewed wooden door, a completely destroyed paper door (puppy head shaped hole lol), another sliiightly pee stained paper door, and most extreme of all, a bunch of ripped up tiles in the kitchen. The floor underneath was exposed and everything, we had to throw some carpet over it just to walk on it.

Does anyone have any experience with moving out of a damaged apartment? Do you have any ballpark estimates of how much this will cost us? Any idea would be appreciated.
