1. Nearly all Japanese I’ve met for any length of time who would be considered “elites” (old money, powerful positions) are unreconstructed racists. They hide it from the public but they can’t resist making their attitudes known eventually. It’s not subtle. I’m talking about the belief that many races are intellectually and morally inferior and that Japanese culture is supreme.
