I’ve been living in Japan for 2 years, and now I’m moving out of my aunt’s house in a few months. I’m a 19-year-old working in a factory, and I’m going to rent my own apartment soon.
I just want to ask: how hard is it living alone? Do I have to do a lot of things?
My coworkers told me it’s better to stay at my aunt’s house and let them take care of everything. I don’t have any problems with them, but I feel like I want to man up and do things on my own instead of relying on them. Right now, all of the things I need to do, like city hall stuff, are handled by them. My work stuff is handled by my haken kaisha.
