When I lived in Wakayama there were free weekly Japanese classes at the city hall. I’m now in Kobe but can’t seem to find out if they have something similar. It was a nice way to meet other people too. Is my only option actually going to city hall? In Wakayama I had a friend I played tennis with who works at city hall which is how I found out.
How English friendly is Kobe city hall? People at the 区役所 were intimidating.
