I’m a N2 level Japan speaker, and I think reading books is one of the best ways to get lots of exposure to Japanese. It’s better than studying lists of words and grammar. I like to read on my iphone kindle app since I can tough words I don’t know and (more often than not) get a popup reading and English definition.
My problem is finding books in Japanese at the right level for me and that I like. Short stories written in contemporary Japanese along the lines of like Ohenry. Things written at a level for like jr. high students, that might include science, history, politics, etc… Short novels would be OK as well.
So, I’m looking for anyone’s favorite books that they’ve read in Japanese. Any ideas?
