Experiences with Barusan

I’m hoping for advice on what I can/cannot leave in my bedroom when using a Barusan fumigation canister.

I think I have a dust mite infestation and need to fumigate the room. The online help videos suggest removing so many things before you set the canister off: all electronics, art, valuables, food (of course), toiletries and ‘luxury’ clothes. It is mainly the clothes I am stuck on because I have an open railing as a wardrobe and I’m quite certain if the mites are on the wall next to the clothes they are on the clothes themselves. My clothes aren’t exactly ‘luxury’ but I have silk, wool, cashmere, linen, all sorts. Most can’t be washed above 30c and definitely cannot be machine dried which is the only way to kill the mites. So I want to fumigate them to be safe from further infestations but wonder what sort of damage this does.

Has anyone used a barusan cannister in their bedroom? If so, what did you leave in the room (that survived)? Otherwise, is there a different product anyone can recommend to put on clothes so I don’t have to fumigate them or boil them?

For full info, I have the バルサンプロEX cannister that you add water to.

Thank you for your help!
