Need Help Finding Rooms and Understanding Foreigner Contracts in Osaka

I’m currently trying to secure a room in Osaka from outside of Japan and I’ve been running into some issues with my agent. They’ve only shown me one option, even though I found several rooms that match my preferences on the same website. When I pointed this out, the agent said those rooms don’t accept foreigners.

I want to make sure I’m not being misled and that there truly aren’t any other available options for foreigners. Is there anyone currently living in Osaka who can offer some advice or assistance?

The room the agent showed me is really cheap, but the bathroom looks dirty despite the cleaning being supposedly completed. I’m feeling a bit stuck and would appreciate if anyone could validate if the rooms I like does not actually take foreigners.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Edit: The agent I am talking about is a company who hired me to work in a company in Osaka and not the room agent. Sorry for the confusion.
