Who do I call if there is a snake on the stairs going up the hill to our local conbini?

Does Japan have Animal Control? Or do I call someone to remove a giant snake that is just resting on the stairs on the way up to the local conbini. School ends soon and want to get someone to remove it before kids are let out. P.S. I am terrified of snakes and not getting anywhere near it again.
