Hey all,
I’m currently in talks with a company for a role in Tokyo. Nothing official yet but from what I’ve been able to gather from talks with others in my industry someone in my position would make 7-8million yen a year pre-tax.
I’ll be honest, that number concerns me.
I’m moving with my wife, and we’re planning for kids now.
Is this realistically enough for us to up and move to Tokyo and give our kids a good quality of life? Without family in the area I’m worried it will be quite difficult.
