  1. Consumers in Japan are having hard enough time budgeting with rising cost of most goods, weak yen and wages not keeping up.

    There is comic book in Japan about daily life of married manga artists where husband’s allowance is 20,000 yen ($127.19 at current exchange rate) which is low enough but it turned out wife set her allowance even lower than her husband.

    So both of them do their best to stretch meager discretionary income as best they can until next month.
