My wife and I are traveling to Japan in two weeks. Have been trying to consider between pocket wifi and esim. We will not separate throughout the trip, it’s a 10 day trip and we will not be making phone calls, mostly using it for Google maps, translation apps and travel coordination. We usually do social media posts back at the hotel. So no need for crazy fast data. Or even huge amounts of data. What do y’all suggest? We’re really just looking to save money here.
