My boyfriend and I are visiting Japan for the first time and plan on staying in Kyoto for 5 days. We plan to go to the main tourist attractions (temples, bamboo forest, Torii gates, other historical sites etc) and want to know any of your suggestions on what area to stay in.
Also, would you suggest to stay in an Airbnb or a hotel? Thanks!!!
