Hello, I’m an exchange student and I suffer from chronic pain (which is considered a disability in my country of origin).
I’ve been suffering from excruciating pain for several weeks now, so I went to the Pain Relief Centre at the University of Tokyo Hospital. The doctor told me in a nutshell: “We’ve tried all the standard medicines, but there’s nothing I can do for you”.
I’m afraid I’m going to have to stop my studies and I need to find a solution. **Do you know of any doctors/pain centres/clinics that are good in rare diseases and chronic pain in Tokyo? I don’t know if there are any patient associations that could advise me.**
