My wife and I got married about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
I am on an engineering/specialist in humanities visa, and want to change it to a spousal visa.
Looking online, everywhere is telling me I need both our Japanese marriage certificate, and a marriage certificate issued from the UK. However, the UK doesn’t require I even register my marriage back there as marriages conducted abroad legally are considered legally valid in the UK too. So they dont have anything to issue me.
So, what do I do?
