I am going to Japan in a little less than a year. I know most Hiragana and a little Katakana. I’m about halfway through the “Japanese From Zero!” volume 1 book. My question is what should I do from here. I’m not trying to be fluent but I want to be able to hold a conversation. Any tips on what I should focus on and what tips to use? Thanks in advance.
