Likely out-of-the-way for most, but [Okaka Kitchen](https://www.instagram.com/okakakitchen/) [[GM](https://maps.app.goo.gl/eMzD6banzWYFDwRv9)], [[TL](https://tabelog.com/tokyo/A1317/A131712/13282711/)] in Togoshi makes great, affordable lunch rice bowls. They also have a food truck that can be found at small Shinagawa festivals or Bunko no Mori park.
Formosa near Takatsu has some nice noodle (mian xian). They also serve various dishes at night time such as pi Dan (egg) and the chicken

[Fuji Communication](https://maps.app.goo.gl/A1M7KsTbcgJ3tro69), [also](https://maps.app.goo.gl/3JcZFQCBWmT3s2EeA) and [also in Tokyo Midtown Yaesu ](https://maps.app.goo.gl/JmuPULD1Gvt4ryhw6)– all the same proprietor and excellent food with craft beer / lager selections.
As a Taiwanese, my favorite is Fujin Tree at Coredo https://maps.app.goo.gl/5gmKe5eKk9AVbKf68?g_st=ic
It’s a restaurant from Taiwan and it tastes very similar, with a somewhat different menu. The 水蓮菜 is great!
I’d love to get a recommendation for some good *niu rou mian* (beef noodle soup). I’ve found some restaurants that have it, and some aren’t bad, but the flavor is never the same as the versions I’ve had in Taiwan.
