  1. Failing electricity supplies in nearly every developed country right now. Most countries in Europe, Japan, Australia, China, New Zealand, USA….

  2. Don’t worry, our company will do as usual. Keep windows open because corona, but put aircon at full power to balance.

  3. What if they turn off a few screens in Shinjuku or shibuya and Tokyo tower at night first? This request really defies logic

  4. We’re surrounded by a literal ocean. Why isn’t hydroelectric power throughout the country?

  5. Whenever this happens it’s hard to comprehend how close we are to an actual blackout. We apparently keep reaching something like 98% demand before it magically tops out. I feel that we’re not being told everything

  6. Set the AC to 30C and you’ll be just as comfy using much less electricity.
The heat by itself is not dangerous, it’s the heat + humidity.

  7. Research into safer nuclear power plants….20 years ago would have been helpful. But society’s unwarranted fears toward nuclear energy continue

  8. Well, Japan just shot itself in the face for money. Same Sex marriage illegal, at the same time that they do stuff like this? No thanks, Japan. You can keep it. 👋🏼

  9. I’ll do my part by not having the AC on at home, and instead go to Yosobashi and stand out on the sidewalk getting blasted by their AC through their wide open doors 👌
