Any advice? My brother left one of our suitcases on the train on the Yomenote line from Shinjuku Station to Shin-Okobu station. We went to a customer service desk to ask about a lost and found and they just told us to call the JR customer service line, but they’re closed right now and I don’tknow if they’ll be open over the weekend. Advice on what to do?? Or are we screwed?

We got the luggage back!! Thank you to everyone who gave us advice. We ended up going to the Shanjuku station lost and found and the man there was so friendly and patient with us despite the language barrier. We told him what happened and he described the luggage perfectly and told us that it was at a station 15 minutes away and gave us a paper to take with us. We went there, filled out a paper with our information, presented the paper that the previous man had given us, and then they came and rolled out our luggage!
