Hi,
I’m Canadian and in the process of getting my working holiday visa. I’ve two questions in regards to the supporting documentation and process:
1. The embassy website ([link](https://www.ca.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_en/working_holiday_visa.html)) says that I need a return travel ticket to apply for the visa, does the flight need to be to/from Canada? I was planning on doing some other travel in the SEA region before actually entering Japan.
2. If the answer yes, could I just get a ticket, and cancel it after visa approval? Is the visa itself linked to a specific flight? And does my entering Japan from a country other than Canada pose any issue?
Basically I want to know if/how I can travel around before arriving in Japan to start the WHV, or if needs to be a straight shot from Canada.
