Help with autumn itinerary

So I’m starting to spiral and think I book my flights wrong before diving into researching enough. We arrive in Tokyo November 18th in the evening and fly out of Osaka on December 5th.

My original itinerary was to start in Tokyo 18-24 with an overnight trip into Tazawako to Onsen hop and I have a reservation at Tsurunyo Onsen (I know this is out of the way but I really want to experience this) then I wanted to head into possibly Hakone i’m wanting some Mount Fuji views hopefully, do an over night 25-26.

Then I was thinking of basing myself in Kyoto (hopefully not to late for some good autumn leaves) 27-1 and doing a overnight trip into Magome-juku are for some rustic small village vibes but I also just discovered Kanazawa and shirkawago which could be cool villages vibes as well but I’m struggling because both places are probably past autumn leaves season… then I would finish in Osaka 2-4 with day trip to Nara ( also to late for autumn)

So I think I messed up with flying out of Osaka and I maybe should have ended the trip doing Tokyo so I could catch more of the fall colors in Hakone and Magome-juku. Am I overthinking this and am I chasing autumn leave season to much? Are there other places more suited to my time frame? With these places still be as pretty without leaves on the trees? Or should I try and change my flight out of Osaka and change it to Tokyo so I can see thing more in the earlier part of November.

Sorry I know this is all over the place 😂😩
