I looking to join a language school in 2025. I passed the N4 in 2018 and have not studied much since, though recently I have been getting back into it. I'm finally in a financial position to take a year out to go to language school.
For those who have been to language school, which term is best to join from?
I'm ready to go from January 2025 but I feel that would be am awkward time to join as its near the end of the academic year.
Would joining in April mean I start from 0? Would it be best to join in October when I can assume they have finished covering the majority of N4 material?
My other question is Tokyo vs not Tokyo language schools. Is going to a Tokyo language school more detrimental to learning due to the capital being used to tourists therefore have more English? Looking for opinions from people who have done language school in Japan and their personal experience.
