Hey everyone! I recently completed my N4 level studies and was planning on watching some Japanese movies/dramas to help me better understand the language and culture.
I needed some help (recommendations actually) on some good dramas/movies through which I could learn. I initially tried to look for some but most were from the romance genre and I apologise if I sound rude but I am interested more in other genres. For example I started this one drama (Nのために) and wanted similar recommendations.
So if anyone can help me, I’d really appreciate it.

So this might sound lame, but Anpanman is readily available all over youtube and has very accessible Japanese. It’s for 2 year olds, though, so don’t be expecting Shakespeare level plots or anything nuts.

Samurai gourmet on Netflix is a favorite of mine
The Outrage trilogy is on Amazon prime. They’re fun.
Good Morning Call is so good. And cute. I agree with Midnight Diner, though. It’s one of my favorites!
