Do I understand this correctly? Delta offers both US- and Japan-issued Amex cards? Is there any advantage to having a US-issued Amex when living in Japan?
In case context is helpful: I'm looking to decide what airline mileage ecosystem to focus on. Japan-based resident. Flights would be to Europe, N America, Oceania and S-E Asia. Not so much to Latam, Africa, Middle-East or China/Korea.
