We are planning a trip to Japan in November (family of 4 with 2 teens) and want to do a Ryokan (with onsen) while we are there. WIth the rest of our itinerary, we thought somewhere around Lake Kawaguchi would work well. Any recommendations for one with great food, including traditional kaiseki? We have also heard there are some with readily available snacks, which the kids are now really hoping for 🙂 Thanks in advance!
Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention a budget. It is one of the things we are willing to splurge on, probably up to 130,000 yen / night for the 4 of us (but 90,000 would be better :).
