何時 and 何歳

Hello everyone, 元気ですか？。
So I was listening to a japanese song and I noticed that the singer pronounced these, 何時 and 何歳 as いつ and いくつ respectively. Am I missing something here? Aren't these read as なんじ and なんさい ?
