this might be a silly question, but i desire to eat a calzone and am not sure where to acquire one. it doesn’t have to be great (pizza hut “p’zone” quality would be totally fine), but it does need to exist. i live just outside tokyo and am willing to commute for this food.
thanks!
(i am not actually ben wyatt but the comparison *has* been made)

Gyōmu Super has frozen calzones.
Pretty sure Paisano’s have some good ones
Rocco’s in Oji has calzones on the menu. I have only ever had pizza there, but the pizza is good so I assume they’re at least decent.
I also recommend gyoumu super. Or cooking it yourself is an option as well, I used to do that until I realized that in the end it was even more expensive to gather the ingredients than buying it already done.

Devil craft pizza might
Willing to commute-huh? ………I suggest “L&B Spumoni Gardens” – Sicilian square pizza and more– but here’s the thing -It located in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn (think Saturday Night Fever) –The absolutely BEST.
Pizzeria Ciro in Higashi-Nakano has a “pizza fritta”, which is like a deep-fried calzone
Kaldi sells them. Frozen. Not nice.
I made my own not too long ago. I highly recommend trying baking at home if you’ve never done it. It can be really fun and satisfying.
Pizzakaya, Roppongi. A friend of my gets their in house freshly made dough ever week for his bar.
It’s good.
…it’s a restaurant BTW
Do you want an actual Italian calzone? Go to Peppe Napoli sta Ca’ in komazawa daigaku
