I booked Tokyo night 1-4 and Kanazawa for nights 6 and 7.
Oops we have no where to stay on night 5 and the accommodation I picked in Kanazawa is not available on night 5.
Originally I had not planned to go see Mt. Fuji. I put it on a “next time” list as I’d really like to hike it but I’m not in a place where I can physically accomplish that right now so I decided to skip.
I was thinking of trying to find a nice relaxing ryokan with a view of Fuji for that one night. Any recommendations? Is there anywhere that has ready transport to Kanazawa without going back to Tokyo? Is this idea not worth it? Should I just try to change other reservations?
EDIT: I may have burried the lead by not putting in dates "Night 5" is Oct 19. I just found out that the Kawagoe Matsuri is that day/night. Is this one worth experienceing? where to stay if one wants to experience this?
