Hi everyone, this may be quite far in advance (traveling summer 2025) but I am looking into an onsen/hot springs experience within Tokyo that could accommodate myself (mom) and my 3 kids (girl 10, boy 8, girl 4). The problem is that my husband won't be traveling with me so my son would be alone in the males only area. I was SOOO disappointed to learn that the Oedo Onsen Monogatari in Urayasu is closing this year, as it would have been perfect for our needs with swimsuit areas that both females and males could enter.
I looked into Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club but children 7 years of age or 120 cm and up must be in their gender specific area. So I'm not sure if there's any other places… which is a bummer, I really would have loved for them to experience that.
So my question is, is there any place similar to Oedo Onsen Monogatari with the swimsuit areas, within Tokyo? I would really rather stay in Tokyo if possible as I find it might be tough to travel too far solo with the kids. Thank you in advance for any advice you can give (even if to say, forget it!)
