Hello, I am moving to the US from Japan and thinking of transferring my savings in Japan to my husband’s Wise account in the states.
Now Wise account in Japan has the restriction of not been able to hold more than 1M yen for longer than 30days or transfer more than 1M yen per transaction. My question is, since my husband’s Wise account is opened with US address, will we be able to hold more than 1M in JPY for indefinite time (until the yen gets slightly stronger against dollars) in his Wise account after I transfer the fund from mine via multiple 1M yen transaction? Or does it also come with the 1M JPY holding limit?
