Going to Japan from June 17-July 2 looking for advice on my itinerary!

Day 1

Arrive to Tokyo in the afternoon

Arrive @ hotel in Shinjuku

Eat somewhere and maybe visit Golden Gai this night instead of later

Day 2

Tokyo National Museum then Ueno Zoo, Ameyoko Shopping District maybe Akihabara and Kanda Shrine

Day 3

Mount Takao to hike and explore this area. Night time may be for Akihabara or Kanda Shrine if we didn't make it on day 2

Day 4

Tokyo Disneyland (Fingers crossed we get premier access for Fantasy Springs)

Day 5

Meiji Jingu (Early AM), Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Yoyogi Park, Harajuku maybe Owl Village Cafe, Mag's Park Rooftop Shibuya Crossing, ONE PIECE Straw Hat Store, Shibuya Sky 8:30 tickets, Shinjuku Golden Gai if we didn't go day 1

Day 6

Tsukiji early AM, Imperial palace hopefully at 9:30 to get the free tour, Uniqlo Ginze, teamLab tickets at 4:30. Depending on time we may do Uniqlo after teamLab

Day 7

Train to Kyoto (Would like to know what day in advance should I use the luggage forwarding service or if I even should. We will be heading to Kyoto early AM)

Nishiki Market, Nijo Castle and check into hotel. Explore other areas as well if we aren't tired.

Day 8

Fushimi Inari Taisha (thousand gates) will wake up super early for this to avoid crowds. Starbucks that looks unique to Japanese culture, Kiyomizu-dera, Philosopher's Path, Higashiyama Jisho-ji

Day 9

Train to Osaka to visit Universal Studios

Day 10

Train to Nara and maybe Uji after if time permits

Day 11

Booked a tour of Osaka (Sky building, Osaka Castle and boat ride)

Day 12

Osaka Aquarium & Dotonbori

Day 13

Sagano Romantic Train, looked to take the boat back on the Hozugawa river do we purchase tickets there or can we in advance?, Arashiyama forest and monkey park, kinkaku

Day 14

Train back to Tokyo early AM

Got tickets to see the GIants play at the Tokyo Dome, will try to go to the Starbucks reserve before the game or after, end night at Kabukicho tower

Day 15

Pretty much if we didn't see what we wanted before in Tokyo we will this day. Reservatoin at Shima at 5:30

Day 16

We leave 🙁
