Hello redditors,
I will be going to Japan at the end of August, got ZipAir tickets flying into Narita from California. I'm thinking of immediately continuing somewhere north (either Sapporo or Aomori) and starting my trip from there rather than from Tokyo. The problem is, ZipAir doesn't seem to have agreements for connecting flights with other airlines (I emailed the customer support). I would have to go through passport control, then come back and check into my next flight.
What do you think:
Is this too much? Have you done it and would you recommend / not recommend such itinerary?
How much time would you recommend I reserve between flights? My flight lands in Narita at 3pm. When is the earliest I could reserve the next leg?
