I’m wondering if anyone has experience renewing their passport here
I’m mostly wondering about the address part of the form.
\-Since we are factual residents of canada, is my home address my canadian one?
\-how do I input my japanese address into the mailing address? What do it put in each box (there’s number, street, apt, city country and postal code. Do it need to put my machi as well as city? and I’m unsure of what to put for street
also, can anyone be used as a reference? Do they not have to be in japan?

You are a resident of Japan, you are a citizen of Canada. Your address is the address you currently reside, i.e. your Japanese address.
Your home address is the address where your home is. Where you live currently.
The address can generally be entered backwards to what you would enter it when doing so in Japan. You put the smallest “area” name for street.
