Sorry if asked a bunch before. I'm gonna attempt the Shikoku Pilgrimage this August and would appreciate any advice people have who either live in Shikoku or have done the pilgrimage.
My main concern is how did you guys go about lodging. Did you book on the fly as you were going around Shikoku? Did you book everything in advance? Is it even possible to book everything in advance considering the length and uncertainty of such an adventure?
I also heard that the huts along the way can't be camped in anymore?
Other than that, any advice would be much welcomed! 🙂
I already have lived here a good amount of years, so culture/language/knowing the hell of doing it in summer isn't so much the issue.
