I'm going to be doing the digital nomad thing next year but I've got some questions about Tokyo beta and getting mildly impatient waiting for their response!
Can someone explain how their fees work?
1) The rent is marked as, for example, 32,000 yen. Then there is a service fee of 15,000, then a cleaning fee then a separate 15,000 yen. Using TOKYO β takashimadaira4 as an example:
Monthly Rent
Â¥32,000
Service Charges
Â¥15,000
System Usage Fee
Â¥1,100
Cleaning
Â¥15,000 (excluding tax)
Are these fees in addition to the rent? Meaning the total is 63,100 jpy/month? Are there any additional fees to keep in mind?
Also is this payable up front or monthly?
And, last question, the internet access. Can anyone confirm the speed of the connection? How good is it? Does anyone know if I can source my own if I need?
Sorry for all the questions… Their team hasn't gotten back to me in about 2 weeks and need some details.
