I've been to Japan a few times in spring and fall but always as an end destination. This year I'm hoping to do a long stop over say 5 days in either Tokyo or Osaka on my way home to the US. The question is, are November and Jan really difficult to walk around beause of the cold? And a big draw for me is flea markets and of course other shopping, but I'm thinking they might not be happening beause of weather/other stuff going on. I normally transit in Seoul S. K but this January it was snowing and I couldnt' really go many places. Any thoughts? And thank you.
