Love it! Looks like a lot of construction going on at the station?
Really? That’s the view everyone lines up for?!? 🤔
That’s not from shibuya sky
If this is the ‘amazing’ view, I don’t think I’ll bother. There are better vantage points than this.
View from Shibuya Scramble Square, where Shibuya Sky is (on the roof)
Where is the view from the top ?
Impressive. Very nice. Now let’s see Paul Allen’s picture.
It looks nostalgic to me
What are they building there? I’ve always seen it every time I go for sometime now.
Thank goodness I never went up there 😂
nice construction crane
I live in the city!!
Please feel free to ask around Shibuya😉
Bit of a tangent… the construction on top of shibuya station has been on going for a while… are they making the station bigger? Anyone know what they’re constructing?
I’ll have to get up there and sky tree
Shibuya “development” is work in progress. Expect to see this for at least a couple more decades. The plans are there, but implementations are, of necessity, taking time. The sequence of construction is dictated by priorities considering the district is very crowded and awake 24/7.
I can’t count how many times I’ve been drunk in this area.

The view I see from my office everyday, just a little lower.
le jungle de la concrete
Excellent!
Ah, the eternally under-construction Shibuya Station!
(But seriously, what a logistical nightmare it must be for the construction companies.)
Disney’s Tokyo revengers
That anime face top left has some Mussolini facade energy.
Since others haven’t done so, [here is the actual view looking down on the Scramble Crossing](https://jw-webmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/Snapseed-6-min.jpg). OP is obviously way lower in the building.
Agree with the other poster that it’s likely the T Site Share Lounge on the 11th floor.
The view from the actual Shibuya Sky [really is amazing](https://savvytokyo.scdn3.secure.raxcdn.com/app/uploads/2019/11/SPS_3989.jpg).
Just remembered Anya’s line that she learned from anime after looking at this picture.
How old is this photo? I just read a news article saying that Tsutaya and Starbucks have closed in the building just below the tip of the crane. I know media consumption is changing to downloadable content, and most of the store was har copies of video games and dvds, but I loved the top floor of Tsutaya, great quirky book selection and the little bar/cafe.
Is the poster of the 6 girls under the Yakult a girl group? Or TV show?
I hate to say it but Shibuya is easily my least favourite part of Tokyo. Been here a week now and had some great times but Shibuya just had me on the verge of a panic attack the entire time. Total sensory overload and god the SMELL.
Really wanted to like it but I’m not sure why, it’s just Times Square on the opposite side of the world.
Would’ve been even better without Tokyo revengers in the pic
Never realised that there’s a giant yakult billboard. Nice
This is AI Shibuya isn’t real
“Look Simba, every thing the ads touch is our kingdom”
I actually recognize this place from a book
Just got back from Japan this week, and my first time in Shibuya I got interviewed by Tokyo TV. Then I went left to the Scramble. Such a good day.

Try again.
Goodbye nature.
