I saw a post yesterday or a couple of days ago, and someone had a great link in the comments that explained a lot of stuff… but I cannot seem to find it (not sure which sub it was in).
Anyway, my (Japanese) wife has started worrying.
Last year, we put her wage down at about 100万. This wasn't 100% accurate but we know for sure it was nicely under the 130万 to be my dependent.
This year, her wage is going to be closer the 130, though.
My company has my dependent down as below 103万 so says it will be done through me and my company. But her wage this year will be over 103万 so it should actually be done by her company?
What is the correct thing to do in this situation?
