Hello, I have a Kansai Hiroshima pass that I will start using in two days. I’m trying to figure out how to reserve a seat on the Kuroshio limited express, but can’t figure out how to use the pass to reserve the train ticket. When I go through the online reservation process, I only get the option to pay by credit card. Does anybody know how to use my pass for an online reservation?

You already have the pass then go to the ticket office of any JR station that have one (most have on in larger cities).
go to a ticket machine, switch language to english and follow the menu to reserve a seat with a jr pass. I dont know by heart how its called but its easy to see once you see it. you will have to insert your jr pass (or kansai hiroshima pass) at a certain point, it will check if you can reserve a seat with it, and assuming you did not select something invalid, it will print a reservation and give you back the pass.
done. you can reserve up to x (5? 7?) seats with the kansai hiroshima pass with the machines, after that you still can get reservations but you will need to go to a ticket office with a human to make and print the seat reservation.
online (ive never done) but it only works if you bought the pass with jr west direct. if you bought it on klook or something, it wont work. if you bought it directly, you got a pin, and you are supposed to use that to reserve online. but I dont exactly know how. I am saying that, in case you also bought the ticket at a 3rd party vendor, so you know, you are not crazy, its just not doable
