Hello!
I am visiting Japan again in December till January and I want to book the same Ryokan that we had this year in March. However, they seem to only have rooms available until the 25th of December. Then There is one more room on the 6th of January until the 8th & then its "booked out" again.
My friends and I were planning on staying on the 5th-7th and I was wondering if anyone knows about the New Year holidays and how long they typically last. Google tells me its around the 3rd of Jan. when shops open again, but maybe someone has personal Infos?
We asked the Hotel about their availabilities, but they said to just check again online at a later time. Would you recommend to just trust their word and check again or should I still prepare a backup Ryokan, in case the Dates we want are not available?
