Hello I recently moved to Japan.
I was looking for places to speak Japanese. I went to a language meetup called “English only” cafe but it was mostly English. Not many people speaking Japanese. Id be willing to do a swap like 30 minutes Japanese practice 30 minutes English practice. Is there any such event? I am based in sendagaya.
For context, I used to live in Seoul and there were many such language exchange events in different cafes each day. My favorite one was one where you had dedicated 2, 30 minute sessions to speak Korean 1-1 with a local and the community was very friendly. Wondering if there’s something similar?
