Osaka KIX to Tokyo HND.
I ask because in Canada we always aim for at least 3-4 hours before departure but I feel it may be different and more effective in Japan to go through check in and the security and all. At least for my layover in Europe it was faster.
EDIT :
Arrived at the terminal about 50 min before departure time.
Luggage check-in took 4 min maybe
Security didn't even take 30 sec
There wasn't a lot people in this terminal.
The usual Japanese efficiency at work!
EDIT 2 :
The plane started moving 5 min ahead of schedule.
Also : Starflyer aircraft's seats for this quick domestic flight are far more spacious, clean and comfortable than virtually every other flight I've had in my life. It's also the cheapest flight I ever booked.
EDIT 3 :
It really didn't take much longer to redo all the process once at Haneda for my next flight, international.
I booked both flights separately so it was no official connection, so grabbed my luggage, changed terminals with the free shuttle, checked in luggage and went through security again. All this took like 20 minutes. Not so many people here too, but I suppose Haneda can be way more busy.
