Hi everyone! I'd just like to ask if this itinerary is doable or if it would be too ambitious for a 7-day trip.
Day 1: November 11 (Evening) – Arrival in Fukuoka
Day 2: November 12
- Morning:
- Ohori Park to enjoy fall foliage
- Fukuoka Castle ruins + Maizuru Park
- Afternoon:
- Fukuoka Art Museum
- Canal City Hakata
- Evening:
- Nakasu Island
Day 3: November 13
- Morning:
- Trip to Dazaifu
- Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
- Afternoon:
- Kyushu National Museum.
- Lunch, trying out local specialties
- Komyozenji Temple
- Evening:
- Return to Fukuoka + Dinner
Day 4: November 14 – Day Trip to Cat Island (Ainoshima)
Day 5: November 15
- Day:
- Huis Ten Bosch
- Evening:
- Dinner
- Stay overnight in Nagasaki City
Day 6: November 16
- Morning:
- Nagasaki Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum
- Explore the Nagasaki Hypocenter Park.
- Afternoon:
- Glover Garden, which offers beautiful views and historical Western-style houses.
- Lunch
- Dejima
- Evening:
- Go back to Fukuoka
Day 7: November 17 – Departure
- Morning:
- Souvenir shopping
- Afternoon:
- Head to airport
I'd appreciate any suggestions for the improvement of my itinerary. I'm also down to extend my trip a bit if there are any adjacent cities/prefectures worth exploring.
