So, I read that Hong Kong taxes 0% on profits made from sales to other countries. Plus, HK doesn’t tax dividends at all. 🤯
If any of us foreigners were to start a company selling digital products to people in Japan, is there any reason to open the company in Japan if it’s 100% online?
From what I understand, Japan has a 10% tax for sales within Japan, plus a corporate tax ranging from 15-23%, and additional taxes(e.g. local taxes).
On top of that, Japan taxes dividends at 20%. 💸
