I’m heading to Japan for the first time this week, and as a huge steak guy I’m dying to have a nice sit down meal of some A5 Kobe steak. Only issue is, the person I’m travelling with can’t eat red meat.
It’s not an allergy (they are okay to be around it) and they are okay to eat seafood, chicken and any vegetarian options, but most places I’ve found have primarily been beef focused, and I want them to have a good meal with options as well.
Might be a large ask, but are there any places in Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe or Osaka that have high quality Kobe beef as well as more non beef options? We’ll be spending plenty of time in each of the city’s so anything helps!
