Hi all. Will be traveling to Japan on July 18-31 with 2 kids in tow. 8/7 year old and looking for suggestions on day trips to escape Tokyo and Osaka summer heat waves. Would love to know if there are beach clubs like in Europe near beach towns or mountain towns with festivals. Or even any events or museums during the day in the city. For the last 2 years, we have traveled to Italy and Spain during the height of summer and we do tend to take it easy. Not trying to see and experience everything all in one trip as I realize Japan's heat/humidity is next level. Appreciate all feedback.
