I have a group of 14 including myself going to Japan June 28-July 5 and we arrive June 28. We’re taking the Shinkansen bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka the day we get there. Do I need to book Shinkansen tickets and reserve seats ahead of time? And if so, how far back? Also we’re traveling from Osaka to hakone and then hakone to Tokyo so so I need to book those bullet train tickets in advance as well?
