Microsoft IME keyboard’s katakana doesn’t correspond to QWERTY?

I've switched to the old version of the keyboard because I wanted a way to easily switch between katakana and romaji without right clicking the keyboard button. Now I can do that but I've gotten a new problem: the katakana does not align with the keys on my computer. For example, I type A and I don't get ア, I get チ. How to fix?
