Where to dispose of books / magazine?

Hi there!

So I've been in Tokyo for one week now and I'm leaving for Osaka tomorrow.
When flying here I made the mistake of buying two heavy magazines and a book, that I've now read and don't know what to do with.
Is there such a concept as book boxes like in some places in Europe where you can leave a few books and usually they're gone within hours? They're in french so it might take a little longer but who knows! Thanks everyone!
