Hello all, I’m just looking for some information following a type 1 diabetes appointment I had today.
I’ve been living in Japan for two years and generally my appointments have been costing around 6,000円 a time (before prescriptions).
Well today my wife let it slip to the doctor that I occasionally receive medication from my home country for free (I know) and upon paying for the appointment, I was shocked to learn it was 12,000円
I thought it was extremely high and they’d added new things like “reading freestyle libre machine” so I’m curious as to how much other people are paying for their diabetes checkups here. On average, how much should I be expecting to pay?
