Hello everyone,
I live in Kyoto, and work at Kyoto university as a researcher. I have applied for certificate of eligibility for my wife (dependent visa). The application is in process. During this time can my wife apply for routines visa; and come to Japan? This is the quickest way for her to come to Japan. I am thinking that once I get the certificate of eligibility for my wife. Me and my wife can go to immigration office and update the status of my wife’s visa from Tourist Visa to dependent visa.
